Children's Miracle Network (CMN)

Make Your Home a Miracle Home

BC Children's Hospital Foundation

As part of the fund raising effort, I will designate your home a Miracle House®. This means that I will be making a contribution on your behalf to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation after the closing date. I hope you will share my joy, knowing that YOU and RE/MAX Anchor Realty are helping hospitalised children and making our community a better place.

Children's Miracle Network

Children's Miracle Network At RE/MAX®, we believe that serving the communities in which we live and work allows us to not only contribute to the well-being of our society but to also be concerned about the outcome of that contribution. This dedication we call Premiere Community Citizenship. Our commitment as the exclusive real estate corporate sponsor for the CMN allows us the opportunity to expand the universal cause of caring for sick children.

The RE/MAX — CMN affiliation began in 1986 when RE/MAX affiliates in Calgary, Alberta and the Quebec Region started raising funds for this worthy cause. In 1992, RE/MAX International adopted the Children's Miracle Network as its official corporate charity. Raising funds for hospitalized children, to date RE/MAX professionals have collectively contributed over $56 million to the cause.

In Canada, RE/MAX continues to be a strong corporate contributor to the CMN. With funds contributed by national sponsors like RE/MAX, the affiliated hospitals are able to provide needed medical care and equipment for more than two million Canadian children every year.

RE/MAX associates across Canada raised $3.1 million for the Children's Miracle Network's 14 member hospitals and foundations across Canada in 2005. The contribution topped last year's donation of just over $2.5 million — an increase of 24 per cent.

RE/MAX of Western Canada affiliates raise funds through community involvement such as the annual Children's Miracle Network telethon, pancake breakfasts, golf tournaments, ride-a-thons, walk-a-thons and a myriad of other events. But the cornerstone of our involvement is the Miracle Home Program whereby a portion of the sales associate's personal funds from every commission received are donated to CMN. 100% of their contribution helps sick children from their community. RE/MAX Anchor Realty prides itself in achieving the "Miracle Office" status in which 100% of our sales associates make a donation on behalf of each and every real estate transaction.

Why RE/MAX chose the Children's Miracle Network as its international charity
